About Flip
We started Flip in 2018 to build a frontline employee app. Our platform helps businesses connect with their workforce across different locations and roles. It’s an AI employee experience platform that delivers important news and information, and helps with daily tasks like shift planning and time tracking. It also works as a social intranet and supports internal communications, improving the employee experience for frontline workers, whether they’re in the field, on the factory floor, or doing door-to-door work.
We integrate with our customers’ internal systems using a JVM-based stack (Kotlin, Micronaut) and some Python/JavaScript components. We use technologies like Kubernetes, ArgoCD, and Keycloak for identity and user management. Our clients include Bosch, EDEKA, and MAHLE. We also use AI for internal knowledge bases, deal desk features, and improving our search visibility.
