The Job in a Nutshell💡
We’re looking for a Junior Site Reliability Engineer to join our SRE team. You’ll work alongside experienced engineers to keep our platform reliable, scalable, and observable. This is an excellent opportunity for someone early in their career who’s eager to grow in the reliability engineering space.
What You’ll Do❓
- Participate in incident response and on-call rotations, learning to diagnose and resolve production issues
- Build and maintain infrastructure automation to improve deployment consistency and reduce manual work
- Contribute to our observability stack, helping design and implement monitoring, alerting, and dashboards
- Work with SLIs and SLOs to measure and improve service reliability
- Collaborate with development teams to ensure new features meet reliability standards
- Document runbooks, processes, and post-incident learnings
What We’re Looking For❓
- 0–1 years of experience in SRE, DevOps, or a related technical role (fresh graduates welcome)
- Foundational knowledge of cloud infrastructure (AWS), containers (Docker), and orchestration (Kubernetes)
- Familiarity with monitoring and observability tools (Grafana, Loki, Tempo, Mimir, Datadog, or similar)
- Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail
- Excellent communication skills and ability to work collaboratively
- Eagerness to learn and grow in a fast-paced environment
- Native Arabic speaker with fluent English
Nice to Have❓
- AWS certifications (Cloud Practitioner, Solutions Architect Associate, etc.)
- Experience with infrastructure-as-code tools (Terraform, Pulumi)
- Exposure to scripting or programming (Python, Go, Bash)
