Hello! We are GoFasti, a Talent-as-a-Service. GoFasti bridges the gap between world-class developers and designers from LatAm and first-class companies around the globe.
We need an English-fluent Mid-level software engineer, based in Latin America, available to work remotely.
We are looking for someone with exceptional communication and relationship-building skills, who embraces changes while maintaining strong attention to detail. An interested and proactive person, who’s constantly learning and improving their skills.
Are you the one we are looking for?
Responsibilities:
- Build and ship features end-to-end using TypeScript across backend and frontend
- Develop and maintain serverless APIs (AWS API Gateway + Lambda)
- Work on a modern frontend with Next.js, deployed via S3 + CloudFront
- Design and implement systems that process biomarker and health data
- Integrate and apply AI/ML models to generate user-facing insights
- Use Supabase for authentication and database interactions
- Collaborate directly with the founder(s) on product and technical decisions
- Continuously improve performance, reliability, and developer experience
Requirements:
- 3+ years of professional experience as a software engineer
- MUST: Strong experience with TypeScript/JavaScript
- Experience building APIs and working with backend systems (serverless is a plus)
- MUST: Solid understanding of modern frontend frameworks (Next.js or React)
- MUST: Basic knowledge of AWS (Lambda, API Gateway, CloudFront, S3)
- Experience working with data-driven systems
- MUST : Some hands-on experience applying AI/ML (e.g. using APIs, building data pipelines, or working with models in production)
- Comfortable working independently and taking ownership of features
- Clear communicator in a remote, async environment
- Ok with overlapping with EU time zones
It´s a plus:
- Familiarity with Supabase or similar tools (Postgres, auth systems)
- Experience with LLMs or AI tooling (e.g. OpenAI APIs, embeddings, data pipelines)
- Experience in startups or small, fast-moving teams
- Interest in health, fitness, or longevity
Compensation:
- The Salary range offered for this position varies from (USD) $3,000 - $4,000 per month, depending on seniority and skillset.
- This position is for an independent contractor, through a payroll platform.
- The talent will work REMOTELY allocated at our client.
