Location: Shenzhen, China (Flexible). This role offers the flexibility to work from home, within proximity to an office location.
The Role
You will be responsible for overseeing material planning, supplier capacity, inventory control, and collaboration across the organizations: CM partners, GoPro AVL suppliers, GoPro internal teams (supply chain and engineering). This role requires a strong understanding of product ramp-up fundamentals from NPI to Mass Production, as well as experience managing material flow (CTB) to meet forecast and build plans. You will also demonstrate strong problem-solving and communication skills, essential for success in a high-performing supply chain organization.
What You Will Do
- Ensure accuracy of material flow data across demand and supply with Contract Manufacturers (CMs).
- Participate in weekly Clear-to-Build (CTB) meetings and provide key updates.
- Proactively escalate unresolved or critical supply issues.
- Partner with CM material teams to deliver clear and timely CTB summaries.
- Communicate material risks, recovery plans, and status updates to leadership.
- Collaborate with suppliers to secure material availability and close shortage gaps.
- Support on-site factory visits as needed.
- Track and report supplier performance to drive continuous improvement.
Skills We Are Excited About
- BS degree in supply chain, business management, or related field.
- 6+ years of contract manufacturing, materials/supply chain leadership experience
- Strong communication and writing skills in English
- Proven expertise in production planning, materials management, and cost negotiation
