Location : Paris - Issy-les-Moulineaux (Flexible). This role offers the flexibility to work from home, within proximity to an office location.
The Role
As an AI algorithm engineer, you will be part of the team driving innovation and excellence in AI across the organization, located in France. Your role will require deep expertise in state-of-the-art machine learning techniques, with a strong understanding of recent academic and industrial publications. Experience in embedded systems is a significant plus, as many of our AI solutions are deployed on resource-constrained devices (AI on the edge).

What You Will Do
- Research activities
- Define the AI strategy for image restoration and scene understanding
- Analyze state-of-the-art algorithms
- Development activities
- Propose, prototype and extensively test algorithm solutions that could reach desired performances within embedded hardware and software, and planning constraints
- Design, develop and optimize (memory consumption, quantization and processing time) the chosen image processing and computer vision solutions
- Deliver fully tested solutions (objective and subjective performance evaluations)
- Support the design and the development of performance metrics and tools used for the integration and the tuning of our solutions inside final products
- Maintain and improve internal MLOps framework
- Comply with our internal development and coding rules
- Test and evaluate third party IP
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams including firmware, hardware, product, and software engineering
Skills We Are Excited About
- Ph.D. or M.S. in Applied Mathematics, Machine Learning, or related field.
- Deep understanding of modern ML techniques.
- Proficiency in Python, PyTorch/TensorFlow, and ML tooling.
- Experience with AI on the edge
- Knowledge of version control (Git), CI/CD, and MLOps practices.
- Experience with Photo and Video camera related products is a plus
- Technical English language practice required
- Strong interpersonal communication skills
