Why we’re hiring:
WPP Open is our global marketing operating system, designed to unify data, technology, and creativity across markets. As a Delivery Lead, you will play a pivotal role in driving successful delivery of WPP Open initiatives, ensuring scalability, consistency, and operational excellence across workstreams and pods. This role requires strong leadership, stakeholder engagement, and expertise in managing complex, programs within a fast-paced, agency environment.
What you’ll be doing:
- Global Delivery Ownership: Lead end-to-end delivery of WPP Open products, ensuring timelines, budgets, and quality standards are met.
- Stakeholder Management: Act as the primary liaison for your initiative with relevant stakeholders across Product, Engineering, Enablement and other WPP operating companies.
- Delivery Management: Plan and manage delivery of initiative roadmaps, ensuring timely and high-quality delivery
- Team Management: Guide and mentor delivery teams, fostering collaboration and continuous improvement across distributed teams and across WPP Open program
- Risk & Issue Management: Proactively identify, track, and mitigate risks and dependencies across global programs.
- Process Standardization: Implement and enforce delivery frameworks, governance models, and best practices to ensure consistency across markets.
- Reporting & Insights: Provide clear, data-driven reporting on delivery progress, KPIs, and operational health to senior leadership.
What you’ll need:
Skills & Experience
- Proven experience in delivery management within large-scale, global technology or marketing programs. 10+ years of experience
- Strong understanding of Agile, Scrum, and hybrid delivery methodologies.
- Exceptional communication and stakeholder management skills across diverse geographies.
- Ability to manage multiple complex projects simultaneously in a fast-paced environment.
- Familiarity with tools such as Jira, Confluence, Miro, ProductBoard, and enterprise collaboration platforms.
Preferred Qualifications
- Certification in Agile (Scrum Master, SAFe) or Project Management
- Experience in marketing technology platforms, data integration, or digital transformation programs.
- Background in global delivery frameworks and multi-market rollout strategies.
