The Role
We’re looking for a junior HR Generalist with a strong compliance experience, especially someone who understands (or has been exposed to) U.S. labor unions and employment regulations.
This position will play a key role in ensuring that our HR practices remain compliant with federal, state, and local regulations while supporting day-to-day HR operations.
What You’ll Be Doing
- Support compliance with U.S. federal, state, and local employment laws.
- Maintain clean, accurate, and audit-ready HR documentation.
- Support internal compliance reviews and audits.
- Assist with employee relations matters from a compliance-first perspective.
- Track regulatory updates and flag potential risks.
- Support onboarding, offboarding, and employee records management.
- Analyze HR data to identify trends, risks, or improvement areas.
- Proactively suggest systems and process improvements to make HR more efficient and scalable.
What We’re Looking For
- 1–3 years of HR experience.
- Strong English skills (spoken and written).
- Highly detail-oriented with strong organizational skills.
- Comfortable working in a fast-paced, evolving environment.
- Analytical mindset with interest in data and systems improvements.
- Able to handle sensitive information with discretion.
- Exposure to U.S. labor unions or unionized environments (preferable).
- Solid understanding of U.S. employment law fundamentals (preferable).
