Hubtype is a platform that helps companies deploy and scale AI agents across messaging channels like WhatsApp. These agents help customers get things done, tracking orders, managing bookings, asking questions, resolving issues, and receiving recommendations — all in a single conversation.

We are in a particularly exciting phase: moving from structured automation into AI agents that can self-solve, reason, and adapt — while still giving enterprises the control and reliability they need. It’s not a simple problem. That’s exactly why it matters.

About the role

We’re looking for someone to own Hubtype’s administrative and financial operations — not to manage tasks, but to design systems, lead with AI, and make the calls that no automation can.

You’ll be the sole person in this function, working closely with the CEO, CX Director and cross-functional teams, with real autonomy and full accountability.

RESPONSIBILITIES

Finance & Accounting — Monthly close, supplier payments, tax obligations (VAT, IRPF, SS), cash flow oversight, and compliance with ISO 27001, DORA and ENS audits.

Billing & Revenue Operations — Own the full billing cycle, resolve invoicing discrepancies, and collaborate with CX and Sales on activations, renewals and commissions.

Admin & Operations — Inventory (Barcelona based), support People with onboarding/offboarding logistics, documentation, office logistics and team events.

AI & Automation — Experiment relentlessly, build and maintain automation workflows, pilot new tools, and turn efficiency gains into structural company assets.

Must-have

  • Hungry: Highly proactive problem solver, anticipate and hands on multitasking. Multistakeholder.
  • Proven experience in administration, finance or operations (2–3+ years).
  • Solid understanding of Spanish accounting and tax processes (VAT, IRPF, Social Security).
  • Active daily use of generative AI tools (Claude, ChatGPT, Gemini or similar).
  • Hands-on experience with automation tools such as n8n, Zapier, Make or equivalent.
  • Ability to work with full autonomy and manage competing priorities without constant oversight.
  • Full professional fluency in English and Spanish native. Catalan is a plus.

Nice to have

  • Experience in a startup or scaleup environment.

  • Familiarity with compliance frameworks (ISO 27001, ENS, DORA).

  • Comfort with tools like Notion, Slack, Google Workspace and SaaS billing platforms.

  • An ‘operations as a product’ mindset: you document, iterate and improve your own processes.
