Job Description
You will contribute to green and secure energy ecosystem creation by:
- Ensuring compliance with local and international Health and Safety regulations, ISO 45001:2018 standard, and industry best practices
- Conducting risk assessments, site inspections, and internal audits
- Investigating incidents and ensuring effective corrective and preventive actions
- Delivering Health and Safety training, organizing emergency drills, and promoting a strong safety culture across the company
- Developing and implementing Health and Safety policies and safe work practices for Operations and Maintenance
- Developing, updating, and maintaining Health & Safety documentation, standards, and procedures
- Overseeing contractor compliance and safe work execution
- Serving as a liaison between safety teams, contractors, and regulatory authorities
- Implementing best-in-class Health and Safety and quality control processes, managing lessons learned, and reporting on asset performance, risks, and mitigation plans.
Qualifications
- Higher education in Health and Safety. Valid Health and Safety Specialist certification in accordance with national requirements
- At least 3 years of similar work experience as Health and Safety Specialist in construction or industrial environments (renewable energy is a plus)
- Experience with contractor safety management, risk assessments, audits, and incident investigations
- Detail-oriented, analytical, and solution-focused mindset
- Ability to promote safe work practices and collaborate effectively under tight timelines
- Willingness to travel and visit sites
- Certifications such as NEBOSH or equivalent would be a strong advantage (training can be provided if needed)
- Proficiency in English (both oral and written) is required, as the position involves stakeholders in other Baltic countries and Poland, and requires daily communication and documentation in English.
