What’s the opportunity?
We’re looking for a Sourcing & Procurement Specialist to join our growing Procurement team in Dublin.
This role blends strong tactical procurement execution (requisition-to-PO, supplier onboarding, policy compliance) with hands-on sourcing expertise. You’ll not only ensure our day-to-day procurement operations run smoothly — you’ll also lead sourcing initiatives, drive commercial value, and help modernise how we procure through automation and AI-driven solutions.
Reporting to the Head of Procurement, you’ll partner closely with stakeholders across Finance, Legal, IT, Security and business teams to deliver efficient, compliant and commercially sound procurement outcomes.
We’re looking for someone who is operationally excellent, commercially sharp, and excited about leveraging AI and automation to improve how procurement works at scale.
What will I be doing?
Procurement Operations (Tactical & P2P)
- Manage the full requisition-to-PO (P2P) lifecycle in Zip, ensuring requisitions are complete, compliant and processed efficiently
- Partner with stakeholders to ensure requirements are clear and aligned with procurement policies
- Review requisitions to ensure accuracy of scope, pricing, documentation and approvals before processing
- Manage supplier onboarding and vetting requirements in collaboration with internal stakeholders
- Support contract execution workflows in Ironclad, ensuring documentation is complete before PO issuance
- Collaborate with Accounts Payable to resolve invoice queries and ensure timely supplier payments
- Provide procurement training and support to stakeholders across the business
- Ensure adherence to Intercom’s procurement policies and procedures
- Perform daily tactical and operational procurement activities as required
Strategic Sourcing & Commercial Ownership
- Build our capabilities for RFPs, RFQs and supplier evaluations using AI first mentality
- Conduct market analysis and benchmarking to identify cost optimisation and value opportunities
- Negotiate commercial terms, pricing structures and contract provisions in partnership with Legal
- Drive supplier selection decisions based on total cost of ownership, risk, scalability and business needs
- Develop category insights and proactively identify sourcing opportunities across key spend areas
- Support contract renewals with structured commercial reviews and negotiation strategies
AI & Automation Mindset
- Identify opportunities to automate and streamline procurement workflows and approvals
- Leverage AI tools to enhance sourcing analysis, spend insights, benchmarking and contract review preparation
- Partner with internal systems teams to optimise Zip, Ironclad and related procurement tools
- Drive continuous improvement initiatives focused on reducing cycle times and increasing process efficiency
- Champion data-driven decision-making within procurement
- Stay informed on emerging procurement technologies and AI-driven sourcing solutions
What skills do I need?
- 3–5+ years of procurement and sourcing experience
- Strong experience managing P2P systems (Zip preferred)
- Demonstrated experience running sourcing events and negotiating commercial agreements
- Strong analytical and commercial acumen
- Experience reviewing and interpreting contracts in collaboration with Legal
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Ability to manage multiple stakeholders and competing priorities
- Highly detail-oriented with strong organisational skills
- Proactive, curious and solutions-oriented mindset
- Comfortable working independently and driving initiatives with minimal supervision
