Job Title: Quality Assurance Officer
Salary: £23,400 - £29,000 per annum (dependant on experience)
Hours per week: 35 hours per week
Location: At IOSH, we embrace hybrid working because we believe it’s the key to achieving work-life balance, strategic success and fostering our collaborative culture. You’ll be required to work from our head office in Wigston, Leicester a minimum of 2 days per week. The remainder of your working hours will be undertaken from home.
The successful applicant must have the pre-existing right to both live, and to work in the UK.

About the role Here at IOSH we pride ourselves in promoting excellence in occupational health and safety. We offer a wide range of training programmes delivered by a network of IOSH-approved training providers.
We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented individual to join our dedicated team as a Quality Assurance Officer. You will be responsible for quality assurance and standardisation of our training providers, and the training they deliver, in accordance with established criteria and professional standards.
You will be quality assuring the delivery and outcomes of IOSH courses delivered by the network of approved training providers, undertaking specific quality checks, and providing feedback and reports both written and verbally, as necessary.
This is a key role at IOSH and the opportunity to demonstrate adherence to professional standards and regulatory criteria, ensuring confidence in our assessed course provision for course delegates, customers and the occupational safety and health profession.
What you’ll bring
We are looking for someone with attention to detail, a passion for ensuring professional standards are maintained and who can work independently and as part of a team. Possessing the skills and experience to confidently support and communicate with customers, providing excellent customer service, you will have a passion for education, training, assessment and quality.
Essential criteria
· Knowledge and experience of assessment, training and quality assurance principles
· Experience of undertaking audits, preferably in an education environment·
· Able to work both independently and collaboratively and build relationships with customers and colleagues
· Excellent organisation skills with the ability to meet deadlines set for you.
· Experience of working in a Health and Safety environment (desirable)
Given the nature of our work and subject matter, possession of the following qualification or their equivalent is desirable:
· Level 3 qualification in Education and Training or equivalent
· Level 3 Health and Safety qualification or equivalent
