Job Description
As a Manager within our Fund Administration team, you will play a key leadership role in managing and nurturing client relationships by addressing client needs, issues, and expectations with professionalism and expertise. You will act as the final quality checkpoint before deliverables are sent to clients, ensuring full compliance with Group and Company policies as well as local regulatory requirements. Working closely with the Director – Client Coverage or Client Coverage Manager, you will be responsible for coordinating and delivering high‑quality secretarial services across their client portfolio while maintaining strong communication and operational excellence.
What You’ll Do -
- Lead, train, coach, and supervise team members while ensuring proper task allocation, performance input, and adherence to compliance, legal, and regulatory requirements across all secretarial processes.
- Review, verify, and approve key documents and transactions including business plan changes, payments, bank/custody account openings, board packs, resolutions, minutes, constitutions, TRC applications, and correspondence to authorities such as ROC, FSC, and the Registrar General.
- Oversee and ensure accuracy and compliance for complex client activities such as share distributions, dividends, redemptions, investments, restructuring, financing, migrations, and amalgamations, confirming solvency and regulatory alignment.
- Ensure all statutory and regulatory obligations are met, including FATCA/CRS reporting, preparation and filing of forms, maintaining updated registers, and coordinating with clients, shareholders, Directors, Legal teams, and internal stakeholders.
- Uphold information security (ISMS), support special projects, participate in board meetings, and collaborate with Client Coverage leadership to maintain strong client service delivery and efficient workflow management.
Qualifications
- Degree holder with a relevant professional qualification.
- Minimum of 7 years’ managerial experience within a similar role or the global business sector.
- Strong expertise in Corporate Administration and Secretarial matters.
- Solid understanding of the Companies Act, Financial Services Act, and legislation governing Global Business in Mauritius.
- Good working knowledge of 5‑Series and Eazzy (preferred).
