Job Description
You will be responsible for the accurate, controlled, and timely execution of payment activities across a portfolio of Special Purpose Vehicles (SPVs). You will play a key role in safeguarding client assets through strong governance, robust controls, and precise execution, while building trusted relationships with clients, banks, and internal teams. You will also take operational ownership of a bespoke payments system, ensuring seamless tracking, reconciliation, and reporting of all payment activity.
What you will do
- You will manage end-to-end payment operations across multiple SPVs, ensuring all payments are accurately processed, properly authorised, and completed within required timelines
- You will maintain strong control frameworks by performing reconciliations, ensuring segregation of duties, resolving discrepancies, and supporting audits with clear and accurate documentation
- You will act as a key point of contact for clients and stakeholders, providing timely updates, resolving queries, and coordinating with internal teams and banking partners
- You will take ownership of the payments tracking system, ensuring all transactions are logged, reconciled, and reported accurately, while supporting system improvements and data integrity
- You will drive process improvements by enhancing workflows, strengthening controls, supporting projects, and contributing to a collaborative and high-performing team environment

Qualifications
- You will hold a degree in Finance, Accounting, Business, or a related field, or have equivalent practical experience
- You will have experience in payment processing, reconciliations, or financial operations within a high-volume or time-sensitive environment
- You will ideally have experience within SPVs, funds, corporate services, or other regulated financial environments
- You will demonstrate strong Excel skills and familiarity with online banking platforms and payment systems
- You will possess strong attention to detail, communication, and organisational skills, with the ability to manage stakeholders and operate effectively under pressure
