Job Description

As a result of continued growth, we have a fantastic opportunity for an experienced SharePoint Lead to join our global team.  This is an exciting opportunity for an action-oriented individual to establish appropriate governance and define group standards and policies within the SharePoint space, in accordance with the groups architectural policies. The individual will also take management responsibilities over the development and administration of SharePoint solutions within the group.

What you’ll do

  • You’ll collaborate closely with the wider Architecture function while owning SharePoint policies, ensuring adherence to procedures across all SharePoint services.
  • You’ll lead the team responsible for developing, administering, and continuously improving the organisation’s SharePoint environment, supporting both SharePoint Online and on‑premises SharePoint 2019 during the DMS migration.
  • You’ll design and build custom SharePoint solutions—including no‑code/low‑code automation, integrations, and dataflows—to support business processes and enhance operational efficiency.
  • You’ll provide clear, practical technical and procedural guidance to business stakeholders, helping them maximise value from the organisation’s evolving document management and SharePoint capabilities.
  • You’ll demonstrate strong ownership, time management, and problem‑solving skills, communicating with impact under pressure and confidently influencing senior stakeholders with logic, clarity, and professionalism.

Qualifications

  • You hold a bachelor’s or master’s degree in information systems or a related field and bring 10–15 years of IT and SharePoint experience, including over 8 years as a SharePoint Lead.
  • You possess deep expertise in SharePoint On‑Prem and Online, including architecture, design, SPFx, CSOM, REST APIs, Power Apps, Power Automate, Purview, Syntex, and migration tools such as ShareGate and Link Fixer.
  • You are highly skilled in the Microsoft technology stack—C#, ADO.NET, ASP.NET, SQL Server, T‑SQL, Stored Procedures, Triggers—and experienced in full lifecycle development, backend integrations, component-based applications, K2/Nintex/BlackPearl, Azure services, and low‑code/no‑code platforms.
  • You have experience working in complex, multi-country and multicultural environments across industries such as finance, marketing, publications, media, and association management, demonstrating excellent communication, decision-making, and problem‑solving skills.
  • You are fully proficient in written and spoken English (with additional European languages as an asset) and bring integrity, drive, passion, and the ability to work independently or collaboratively in demanding global environments.
