ISTA Personnel Solutions is partnering with a leading provider of Applied Behaviour Analysis (ABA) therapy for children with Autism Spectrum Disorder (ASD) based in the United States — to source an experienced behaviour analyst to support their clinical team remotely from South Africa.

About the Role
This is a remote, senior-level clinical position working alongside a US-based BCBA team from South Africa. You will be responsible for reviewing ABA treatment reports, analysing clinical data, and providing structured, evidence-based feedback to the clinical team. This is a high-impact analytical role requiring independent clinical judgement, strong written communication, and a deep commitment to best practice ABA standards.
PLEASE NOTE:
- Working Hours: Monday – Friday | 9:00 AM – 6:00 PM EST (3:00 PM – 12:00 AM South African time – subject to daylight savings).
- Public Holidays: This role requires working on both South African and U.S. public holidays (compensation for SA public holidays in accordance with the BCEA).
- Internet Requirements: A fixed fibre line with a minimum speed of 25 Mbps (upload & download) and wired Ethernet capability is mandatory. Applicants without a fixed fibre line cannot be considered.
- Power Backup: Reliable backup required to manage load shedding or outages. Applicants without a power backup cannot be considered.
- Work Environment: Fully remote.
Key Responsibilities:
- Reviewing ABA treatment reports for clinical accuracy, completeness, and alignment with best practice standards
- Analysing client progress data and identifying trends, patterns, and areas requiring clinical attention
- Providing structured, evidence-based feedback to the clinical team on treatment plan effectiveness
- Recommending adjustments to behaviour intervention plans based on data analysis and clinical judgement
- Conducting and interpreting Functional Behaviour Assessments (FBAs) where required
- Ensuring all reports and feedback align with BACB ethical standards and best practice guidelines
- Collaborating remotely with US-based BCBAs, RBTs, and clinical supervisors
- Maintaining HIPAA compliance in all documentation and communication
Requirements:
- BCBA certification preferred — c andidates with relevant postgraduate ABA experience who are actively working toward certification will be considered
- Minimum 3 – 5 years clinical experience in ABA therapy
- Demonstrated experience analysing clinical data and providing formal written feedback
- Strong working knowledge of Functional Behaviour Assessment and behaviour intervention planning
- Familiarity with US ABA therapy standards and BACB ethical guidelines advantageous — training will be provided where needed
- Excellent written communication — feedback and reports must be precise, professional, and clinically sound
- Ability to work independently in a remote environment while collaborating effectively with a US-based clinical team

- This is not a direct hands-on therapy or client-facing role
- This is not an RBT or junior ABA therapist position
- This is not suitable for candidates with no formal ABA training or clinical experience
