PLEASE NOTE:
- Working Hours: Mon – Fri 9:00am – 6:00pm EST (15:00pm - 00:00am OR 16:00pm - 01:00am South African Time, depending on daylight savings in the USA)
- Public Holidays: You will be required to work on both South African and U.S. public holidays. Compensation for South African public holidays will be provided in accordance with the BCEA.
- Internet Requirements: Fixed fibre line with a minimum speed of 25 Mbps (upload & download), and support for a wired Ethernet connection is mandatory. Candidates without a fixed fibre line cannot be considered.
- Power Backup: A reliable power backup solution is required to manage load shedding or outages. Candidates without backup cannot be considered.
- Work Environment: Fully remote
About the role:
This is not a standalone HR role — you will be working as part of a structured HR team, reporting directly to the HR Manager and executing HR operations tasks with precision, speed, and a high standard of accuracy.
The initial focus of this role will be supporting a significant company-wide employee transition project — a documentation-heavy process requiring someone who is highly organised, detail-driven, and capable of managing high volumes without compromising quality. Beyond this project, the role transitions into steady ongoing HR operations support across a large employee base.

Key Responsibilities
Vetting, processing, and filing employee documentation with accuracy and attention to detail
Supporting employee onboarding administration
Assisting with employee benefits administration
Supporting termination processes and ensuring proper documentation protocols are followed
Ensuring HR compliance standards are consistently met across all tasks
Coordinating and cleaning up documentation across multiple entities where required
Maintain organised and accurate digital HR files
3 - 5 years HR administration or operations experience — generalist HR background welcomed
Prior experience with US HR operations or US healthcare compliance such as HIPAA and ACA is advantageous but not a requirement — full training and support will be provided
Highly detail-oriented with a strong ability to manage volume without losing accuracy
Mature, settled, and looking for a long-term opportunity — not a stepping stone
Self-motivated and able to work independently within a structured remote environment
Strong written and verbal communication skills
Comfortable working with proprietary HR systems — full system training will be provided
A fast learner who takes ownership and works with urgency
