We are looking for an experienced and dynamic Senior HR Business Partner for the Latin America region, reporting to the Head of People Operations. In this role, you will play a crucial part in driving our HR strategy across the full employee lifecycle — including employee relations, talent development, performance management, compensation, and coaching — while fostering a positive and inclusive work culture. You will have a primary focus on the LATAM region, partnering with key departments across the organization and supporting global HR programs where needed.
Location: This role is based out of São Paulo, Brazil, and is a full-time position where it is required to come into our office at complexo JK Iguatemi (2-3 days/week). #LI-Hybrid
Job Responsibilities:
- Partner with business teams as their primary HR contact, coaching managers and supporting the full employee lifecycle in close collaboration with the broader People team to maximize engagement and business execution.
- Focus on manager coaching, organizational design, change leadership and communication, and talent management.
- Influence business and talent initiatives that support short- and long-term goals, including driving practices that enable high performance and operational excellence.
- Recommend, develop, and implement HR processes to further scale the business as we grow.
- Provide counsel and guidance on employee relations situations with sound judgment and a people-first approach.
- Lead core HR processes including performance calibration, compensation review cycles, and promotions.
- Drive practices that increase employee engagement and satisfaction across the region.
- Model and actively reinforce Jeeves’ cultural values in all aspects of the role.
- Oversee and manage on-site events in São Paulo, while collaborating with Country Managers in Mexico and Colombia to coordinate local office activities.
Requirements:
- 5+ years of experience in an HRBP role, or an equivalent combination of HRBP and HR Generalist experience.
- Bachelor’s degree in HR, Psychology, Business, or a related field.
- Excellent communication skills, including effective facilitation, active listening, and clear written communication.
- Strong analytical thinking, problem-solving, and decision-making capabilities.
- Effective coaching skills, solid business acumen, and the ability to influence colleagues at all levels of the organization.Knowledge of HR programs and practices, including applicable employment laws and regulations across the LATAM region.
- Fluent in English and Portuguese. Jeeves is a global company and English is our internal language across regions. Spanish is a plus.

AI Competency Requirements
- Comfortable using AI productivity tools (e.g., Claude, ChatGPT, Copilot) to support day-to-day work — including drafting communications, building frameworks, synthesizing data, and accelerating research.
- Able to critically evaluate AI-generated outputs, understanding common limitations such as factual errors, bias, and gaps in legal or regional context.
- Working knowledge of data privacy considerations when using AI tools in an HR context, including appropriate boundaries around employee data.
- Experience or genuine interest in applying AI to HR workflows such as job description writing, interview guide development, engagement survey analysis, and manager communications.
- Proactively identifies opportunities to reduce manual, repetitive work through AI so that more time can be spent on strategic and human-facing priorities.
- Committed to responsible, human-centered AI use — ensuring that AI augments rather than replaces human judgment in hiring, performance, and employee relations decisions.
- Stays current on developments in AI tools and their application in HR, including awareness of relevant regulatory considerations in the LATAM region.
