Location: This role is based out of Mexico City, Mexico, and is a full-time hybrid position where it is required to come into our office in Roma Norte (2-3 days/week). #LI-HYBRID

  • Focus on manager coaching, organizational design, change leadership and communication, and talent management.
  • Influence business and talent initiatives that support short- and long-term goals, including driving practices that enable high performance and operational excellence.
  • Recommend, develop, and implement HR processes to further scale the business as we grow.
  • Provide counsel and guidance on employee relations situations with sound judgment and a people-first approach.
  • Lead core HR processes including performance calibration, compensation review cycles, and promotions.
  • Drive practices that increase employee engagement and satisfaction across the region.
  • Model and actively reinforce Jeeves’ cultural values in all aspects of the role.
  • Oversee and manage on-site events in São Paulo, while collaborating with Country Managers in Mexico and Colombia to coordinate local office activities.

Requirements:

  • 5+ years of experience in an HRBP role, or an equivalent combination of HRBP and HR Generalist experience.
  • Bachelor’s degree in HR, Psychology, Business, or a related field.
  • Excellent communication skills, including effective facilitation, active listening, and clear written communication.
  • Strong analytical thinking, problem-solving, and decision-making capabilities.
  • Effective coaching skills, solid business acumen, and the ability to influence colleagues at all levels of the organization.Knowledge of HR programs and practices, including applicable employment laws and regulations across the LATAM region.
  • Fluent in English and Portuguese. Jeeves is a global company and English is our internal language across regions. Spanish is a plus.
  • Agile and able to adapt quickly in a fast-moving, evolving environment.
  • Collaborative, team-oriented, and low-ego approach to getting things done.

AI Competency Requirements:

  • Comfortable using AI productivity tools (e.g., Claude, ChatGPT, Copilot) to support day-to-day work — including drafting communications, building frameworks, synthesizing data, and accelerating research.
  • Able to critically evaluate AI-generated outputs, understanding common limitations such as factual errors, bias, and gaps in legal or regional context.
  • Working knowledge of data privacy considerations when using AI tools in an HR context, including appropriate boundaries around employee data.
  • Experience or genuine interest in applying AI to HR workflows such as job description writing, interview guide development, engagement survey analysis, and manager communications.
  • Proactively identifies opportunities to reduce manual, repetitive work through AI so that more time can be spent on strategic and human-facing priorities.
  • Committed to responsible, human-centered AI use — ensuring that AI augments rather than replaces human judgment in hiring, performance, and employee relations decisions.
  • Stays current on developments in AI tools and their application in HR, including awareness of relevant regulatory considerations in the LATAM region.

We may use artificial intelligence (AI) tools to support parts of the hiring process, such as reviewing applications, analyzing resumes, or assessing responses. These tools assist our recruitment team but do not replace human judgment. Final hiring decisions are ultimately made by humans.
