Job Description
Overall Purpose of Job:
Act as a strategic financial business partner to senior management, owning financial transparency, performance steering, and value creation initiatives. Lead the interpretation of financial results and proactively shape business decisions through advanced analytics, scenario modelling, and strategic insight.
Main tasks, roles and responsibilities:
- Act as financial co-pilot to business leadership for SaaS and digital business lines.
- Own financial transparency of recurring revenue streams (ARR, MRR, NRR, churn, CAC, LTV).
- Lead budgeting, forecasting, and rolling forecast processes
- Drive complex financial modelling for SaaS product launches, investments, and pricing strategies.
- Provide ROI, NPV, IRR and sensitivity analyses for strategic initiatives.
- Ensure correct revenue recognition and manage deferred revenue analysis.
- Analyze cloud infrastructure cost allocation and contribution margins.
- Develop advanced KPI dashboards and performance reporting frameworks.
- Lead process optimization and automation initiatives
- Support financial due diligence and post-acquisition integration for digital businesses.
- Provide forward-looking risk assessments and scenario modelling.
- Present financial insights and recommendations to senior leadership and board-level stakeholders. Accountable for the integrity, transparency, and continuous enhancement of management reporting across the business area. Define reporting standards, governance principles, and performance steering frameworks in alignment with corporate requirements
- Responsible for ensuring that reports are created on time and with high quality
- Adapt new reporting requirements and changes for standard reporting
- Enhance reporting packages for local/regional business partner, based on central requirements
Qualifications
Experiences and requirements:
- University degree in Finance, Business Administration, Economics or equivalent
- At least 5 years of experience in Controlling
- Strong analytical thinking and data analysis skills, data crunching
- Flexibility and stress resistance, able to cope with big data set
- Strong knowledge of results analysis concepts and configuration
- Experience in SaaS, subscription-based or digital business models required
- Strong exposure to financial modelling and matrix organizations
- High level of autonomy and decision-making capability
- Strong stakeholder management and influencing skills
- Ability to challenge constructively and drive financial discipline
- Advanced Excel modelling skills
- SAP FI/CO; experience with S/4HANA preferred
- Understanding of SaaS revenue recognition principles
- Strong data visualization and storytelling capabilities
- Advanced usage of Microsoft Office products, SAP-AfO (analysis for office)
- Fluent English
