The work can be managed remotely – with time-to-time office presence depending on the team’s agreement and the demand of the respective professional area – from any location in Hungary. In case of some company events, office attendance is expected from the colleagues. Technical conditions for working from home are fully in place.

Job Description

Overall purpose of the job:

At KOSTAL, we utilize a range of software tools to support our quality management (CAQ) processes. We are seeking an experienced specialist who can quickly learn to maintain and support these tools, working closely with our global business partners.

Main Tasks, Roles, and Responsibilities:

  • Collaborate with business counterparts to conduct requirements engineering and design effective solutions
  • Prepare programming requests for our internal development team or external developers
  • Coordinate and oversee the work of external consultants and developers
  • Test, implement, and manage the rollout of new developments and release upgrades
  • Provide support for quality management processes across various tools
  • Focus primarily on manufacturing-related QM processes, such as Control Planning and Statistical Process Control (SPC)
  • Deliver user support, handle incidents, and ensure standard service fulfillment

Qualifications

Experience and Requirements:

  • University degree in IT or a related field
  • Minimum of 2 years’ experience in IT, ideally with exposure to CAQ systems
  • Experience in the automotive industry, with knowledge of automotive quality standards such as VDA and AIAG
  • Initial experience with AI is considered an asset
  • Ability to understand code in various programming languages
  • Experience with database technologies such as Microsoft SQL Server, as well as supporting data analytics activities
  • Basic knowledge of SAP QM
  • Fluency in English

Required Skills and Competencies:

  • Proven experience working in international, virtual teams
  • Strong skills in project management, change management, and rollout management
  • Excellent communication skills, including confidence in moderating meetings, workshops, and trainings in English
