About LEAP Dev
LEAP Dev is the “Software House” powering LEAP Legal Software, the leading provider of Legal Practice Management Solutions in the world. We’re part of ATI Global – one of the largest international LegalTech companies. For more than 30 years, our curiosity and commitment to continual improvement has kept us reimagining productivity tools for lawyers and their staff to support our guiding purpose, to ‘Help lawyers who help people’. The market leading software we develop and support is used by more than 70,000 lawyers and their staff in small and medium sized law firms.
Working alongside our team of passionate high achievers, you’ll join a fast-growing technology business where things seldom stay the same for long. With more than 1000 smart, caring and ambitious ‘LEAPsters’ working together across Australia, Canada, the United States, the United Kingdom, the Republic of Ireland, Poland and New Zealand, you’ll find yourself in good company here.
Meet the Apps & Integrations team
The Apps & Integrations team sits at the centre of LEAP’s global ecosystem. We are responsible for supporting, reviewing and integrating Marketplace apps across all six of our regions, ensuring they are secure, functional and deliver real value to our clients. As LEAP continues to expand globally, so does our Marketplace. With more product verticals building applications and regional teams onboarding new partners, integrations are increasing rapidly. This team plays a critical role in enabling that growth - partnering with internal product teams, external developers and InfoSec to bring new apps to life. We are the go-to team when new apps or integration ideas are proposed. Every project is different, and that means exposure to a wide range of stakeholders, technologies and business challenges. The team is made up of proactive, adaptable problem-solvers who enjoy troubleshooting, collaborating and making complex systems work seamlessly together.
What you’ll do
As our newest Junior Integration Specialist, you’ll support and work with integration developers, in both designing and architecting integrations for the company - from the ground up (both front and backend). You’ll work closely with Backend Engineering, DevOps, UI/UX, Product and InfoSec, building strong relationships with both internal teams and external partners. Communication and quality are key, as every Marketplace app goes through a structured review process.
You’ll get hands-on exposure to a range of technologies including React, .Net / Core, RESTful APIs, AWS and different databases. We don’t expect you to be an expert in all of them, but a solid technical foundation and genuine curiosity to learn will set you up for success. If you are enthusiastic, collaborative, take ownership and enjoy getting things done – then this is the role for you!
To make this happen, you will:
- Review new and updated integrations.
- Manage changes and required improvements across several RESTFul services.
- Work closely with key business decision makers and cross-functional development and testing teams to offer guidance and advice on what solutions will best fit the business needs.
- Work with QE teams for advanced testing requirements.
- Sanity test, approve / reject application reviews.
- Manage internal and external relationships, both in written and verbal aspects.
- Contribute to and create technical documentation.
What you’ll bring
- 1+ year of software development experience (including internships, academic projects, or graduate roles).
- Exposure to building or supporting RESTful services.
- Understanding of Agile principles and experience working in or learning within an Agile environment.
- Exposure to creating or contributing to technical documentation.
You are the type of person who
- Is a positive, collaborative team member who embodies our values and contributes to a strong, supportive team culture
- Communicates clearly and confidently, both in writing and in conversation
- Takes pride in delivering work on time and to a high standard
- Thinks logically and approaches problems with curiosity
- Pays close attention to detail and enjoys getting things right
LEAP is an inclusive, people-first company committed to breaking down institutional barriers that keep people from reaching their potential. If you meet some, but not all the requirements above, we encourage you to still submit your application.
