Founded in 2017, we develop AI-powered quality improvement and training solutions for organizations in behavioral health, human services, and wellness. Our platform uses artificial intelligence (AI) and natural language processing (NLP) to analyze human interactions and integrate evidence-based practices. We help organizations measure, train, and improve these practices at scale, while also meeting regulatory requirements.

Our platform offers:

• AI tools for quality improvement: These tools transcribe sessions, provide comprehensive evaluations, and report on how well practices align with evidence-based methods.
• Training modules for learning and practice: We design these for various evidence-based practices, using AI to evaluate skill growth in real time and give personalized feedback.

Our platform has processed over 4.3 million sessions and is backed by more than 60 peer-reviewed academic publications. Over 100 health, human services, behavioral health, and crisis care organizations trust us. We design our solutions for organizations like child welfare agencies, Certified Community Behavioral Health Clinics (CCBHCs), crisis response/988 systems, and behavioral provider systems (including physical and telehealth services).

Our core goal is to create an AI-powered platform that any behavioral health or human services organization can access, and that is sophisticated enough to replicate the performance of expert assessors and trainers. We emphasize keeping the human element central to our AI innovations. We aim to transform the science of empathy into impactful, accessible, and scalable solutions, focusing on making critical conversations more human. Lyssn has 11-50 employees and was founded by Ph.D.-level clinical researchers and data scientists. Our team is collaborative, made up of innovators passionate about using AI to make health and human services more human. We prioritize inclusive collaboration across multidisciplinary teams, including professionals in natural language processing, machine learning, psychotherapy research, clinical assessment and qualitative coding, project management, software development, UI design, community-based research, business development, accounting and finance, operations, and sales and marketing. We support remote work, with occasional in-person team meetings requiring travel.

Life/AD&D insurance (Unum) and long-term disability are also provided. Employees can choose an Excepted Benefit Health Reimbursement Arrangement (EBHRA) or a Health Savings Account (HSA).
