WHO WE’RE LOOKING FOR 🌟

Payroll accuracy and predictability are critical for trust - for employees and for the business.

We’re looking for a Global Senior Payroll Specialist who will own and coordinate payroll operations across all Manychat hubs and ensure consistent monthly validation of EoR payroll. This role sits at the intersection of People Ops, Accounting & Tax, Audit, and Total Rewards.

You’ll play a key role not only in running payroll, but also in building a streamlined, scalable global payroll operating model, fully integrated with Humaans and ADP.

WHAT YOU’LL DO 🚀

  • Process and coordinate payroll operations across multiple countries and employment models.
  • Ensure accurate and timely salary payments across all Manychat hubs and EoR providers.
  • Ensure payroll controls, validations, and reconciliations for outputs from external payroll providers.
  • Oversee correctness of statutory deductions, taxes, and social contributions in cooperation with local providers and Accounting & Tax.
  • Support resolution of payroll discrepancies and complex payroll-related cases.
  • Prepare payroll reports and data for internal stakeholders, including Accounting, Tax, Audit, and management.
  • Ensure payroll compliance with local laws and regulations through standardized processes and controls.
  • Maintain payroll documentation, audit trails, and proper archiving in line with compliance requirements.
  • Collaborate closely with:
    • People Ops and People Tech on payroll-impacting lifecycle events
    • Accounting & Tax on reconciliation, reporting, and compliance
    • Audit during internal and external reviews
    • Total Rewards on bonuses, allowances, and variable compensation
  • Participate in ADP Global Payroll implementation and ongoing operations, including:
    • working in ADP as a core payroll system after go-live,
    • supporting payroll setup, testing, and shadow payroll cycles,
    • partnering with ADP and local payroll vendors on country-specific configuration,
    • validating payroll logic, calendars, cut-offs, and reporting in the system.
  • Build and continuously improve a streamlined, efficient, and scalable payroll process, reducing manual steps and dependency on spreadsheets and ad-hoc approvals.
  • Define, standardize, and maintain all payroll events in HRIS (Humaans), ensuring that:
    • all payroll-impacting changes are initiated via approved HRIS workflows,
    • data flows cleanly from Humaans to ADP and payroll providers,
    • payroll processes are fully auditable, predictable, and scalable across countries.
  • Support audits and contribute to continuous payroll process improvements across systems and geographies.

TO SHINE IN THIS ROLE 💥

You’ll need:

  • 10+ years of payroll experience in a multi-country environment
  • Proven, hands-on operational payroll experience in the EU and the United States (Spain and the Netherlands are a strong plus)
  • Strong understanding of payroll principles, statutory deductions, and compliance
  • Experience working with external payroll providers and EoR models
  • Hands-on experience with payroll systems; ADP experience is a strong plus
  • Understanding of HRIS-driven payroll processes (Humaans or similar systems)
  • Strong process thinking and ability to design scalable operating models
  • High attention to detail and strong ownership mindset
  • Ability to work cross-functionally and explain payroll topics clearly
