The Application Support Analyst is responsible for ensuring the smooth operation, support, and continuous improvement of business applications across the organisation. This includes responding to IT requests, maintaining system integrity, supporting users, and collaborating with stakeholders to enhance application functionality and performance.

Job Description

We are seeking a proactive and customer-focusedApplication Support Analyst to join our team. This role is responsible for delivering high-quality support for business applications, ensuring optimal performance, reliability, and user satisfaction. The successful candidate will play a key role in incident management, system maintenance, configuration, and continuous improvement initiatives to enhance service delivery and operational outcomes.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide accurate and prioritised support to internal users across business applications, ensuring timely resolution of incidents and restoration of services.
  • Manage application issues, service requests, and enhancements using approved tools and processes, including conducting root cause analysis and supporting major incident resolution.
  • Perform routine system maintenance tasks such as patching, backup verification, and user account audits, ensuring system configurations align with business requirements.
  • Maintain comprehensive application documentation and uphold data integrity across supported systems.
  • Deliver exceptional customer service through regular face-to-face and virtual interactions, while empowering business units with application knowledge and support.
  • Ensure compliance with governance, quality, and data security standards, and actively contribute to innovation and continuous improvement initiatives.
  • Respond professionally to stakeholder queries, maintaining a strong customer focus and a commitment to service excellence.

Qualifications

  • Minimum 2 years’ experience in an application support role
  • Experience delivering application support via in-house business team mandatory
  • Possess strong sense of teamwork, integrity, self-motivation, positive attitude, and innovative approach to problem solving
  • Experience in Microsoft Platforms (PowerBI, SharePoint, Dynamics, Azure) and other case management platforms advantageous
  • Ability to convey information in a clear, concise manner and maintain confidentiality
  • Good interpersonal and written and verbal communication skills
  • Excellent stakeholder engagement and interpersonal skills
