About the Position
Essential Duties and Responsibilities include the following. Other duties may be assigned:
• Auditing entries previously entered into the system (CargoWise). Such as verifying the billing codes and charges entered.
• Verifying statements received from vendors.
• Create and update reports in MS Excel and Power BI
• Negotiating with vendors for a discount/ trade credit (Early payment discount) on invoices.
• Making Automatic Clearance House payments.
• Making Domestic versus International wire transfers.
• Must have the ability to communicate with other departments on any disputed invoices.
Qualifications
- Advanced English Level (experience in global companies is a plus)
- Intermediate-advanced Excel level (Formulas, accurate data entry, v-lookups)
- Accounting Major
- Ability to pay attention to details while working in a fast-paced environment
- Ability to create, maintain, and develop professional relations with vendors.
