Job Summary:
As the Performance Marketing Specialist, you will be responsible for supporting the Performance Marketing Manager in the management and optimisation of the performance marketing strategy and driving leads to meet the acquisition targets for our Partner Universities. While also advancing your own development in Performance Marketing, you will regularly report to the Performance Marketing Manager on campaign progress, insights and opportunities, while also ensuring campaigns are aligned to best practice methods. You will also collaborate with Marketing Managers, to further understand wider marketing undertakings, upcoming activities and share any relevant insights that may help them in strategic decision making.
Key Responsibilities:
- Support the Performance Marketing Manager in implementing and optimizing conversion,consideration and awareness performance marketing & advertising campaigns across education brands – driving channel optimisation, effective budget management, and opportunity identification.
- Evaluate the performance of approved conversion, consideration and awareness creative across multiple criteria including relevant response rates, cost/revenue analysis, Cost per Lead, Cost per Acquisition, qualitative key learnings, and overall results.
- Provide rich performance, vertical and competitor insights to the Performance Marketing Managers, Head of Performance, and Marketing Managers in a timely way to equip and enrich the performance marketing data.
- Assess and provide optimization recommendations across performance platforms, ensuring our targeting, messaging and landing page experiences are relevant to campaigns; while also ensuring spend and lead delivery is in line with budget.
- Support the Performance Marketing Manager and Head of Performance Marketing in cultivating a culture of curiosity, innovation and internal capability to support the delivery of outcomes aligned to each specific to each campaign.
- Support in ensuring ad content creation is compelling, relevant, aligned to brand guidelines, and fit for purpose for marketing channels, strategy and audiences, and is utilized effectively.
- Possess a test and learn mindset, presenting rationalized initiatives, and associated methods of reaching the appropriate audiences across the website or marketing channels.

Effectiveness (quantified) and engagement of key creative assets including video and brochure conversion
Positive impact on culture, team participation and development
Conversion improvements in student acquisition funnel (lead generation and nurture to enrolment
Experience in a performance marketing role including SEM, Social, Video and Display – client or agency side.
3+ years’ experience in a performance marketing role – client or agency side.
Possess a commercial understanding regarding forecasting, budget setting/management and managing to ROI.
Understanding of campaign measurement/effectiveness for both performance marketing and creative.
Experience and success in developing and implementing across performance marketing campaigns with measurable results.
Experience running AB Testing, understanding the metrics that matter, and guardrails required to deliver a fair test.
Experience in creative/ad-copy planning and creation, data utilisation, value propositioning and storytelling.
Experience working on and desire to learn about end-to-end campaign development from awareness through to onsite lead capture and sales conversion.
Constantly curious, creative and forward-thinking, with a passion for exploring new ideas and approaches, learning from internal stakeholders and platform partners through training provisions.
Ability to work within in a dynamic environment and manage multiple priorities effectively.
Ideally an MBA, master’s degree in marketing, a bachelor’s degree at minimum
