Location: Fully Remote
Schedule: CST (with some flexibility for other time zones; overlap during CST hours required)
Salary: $1,200 - $1,500 USD/month
An innovative, mission-driven company specializing in teaching resources and multimedia services for church leaders worldwide is seeking a talented and creative Video Editor to join its team.
The Video Editor will be responsible for transforming raw footage into polished, high-quality videos that align with the company’s brand and effectively communicate its message. Projects may include promotional content, short-form social media videos, educational materials, interviews, and inspirational or community-focused content.
Key Responsibilities
Edit and produce compelling video content for digital and social media platforms.
Demonstrate proficiency in editing short-form video content (approximately 30 seconds in length) designed for social media platforms.
Organize and assemble raw footage into finished products that meet project objectives and timelines.
Incorporate music, graphics, transitions, subtitles, and visual effects as needed.
Perform color correction, audio enhancement, and overall video optimization.
Collaborate with internal teams to understand project requirements and creative direction.
Ensure all videos maintain a consistent style and adhere to brand guidelines.
Manage multiple editing projects simultaneously while meeting deadlines.
Maintain organized project files and video assets.
Stay current with industry trends and best practices in video editing and content creation.
Proven experience as a Video Editor or similar role.
Proficiency in Adobe Premiere Pro, Final Cut Pro, DaVinci Resolve, or comparable video editing software.
Familiarity with Adobe After Effects or motion graphics tools is a plus.
Strong understanding of pacing, storytelling, and visual composition.
Ability to receive feedback and implement revisions effectively.
Excellent organizational, communication, and time management skills.
Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a remote environment.
