About the Role
We are looking for a Senior QA Engineer to join a first crypto casino platform operating in a real-money, high-transaction environment.
This is a foundational QA role: you will be the first QA engineer in the company, with full ownership to design, build, and scale the QA automation strategy from scratch.
Quality is a top priority for the business, and this role plays a critical part in ensuring transactional integrity, system reliability, and user trust.
Key Responsibilities
• Own the QA strategy end-to-end, with a strong focus on automation-first testing
• Design and implement test automation frameworks from scratch
• Validate transactional flows such as:
• Wallet balances
• Debits / credits
• Retries and idempotency
• Rollbacks and partial failures
• Ensure frontend behavior always matches backend state
• Perform API and backend-heavy testing, with frontend validation as part of E2E flows
• Define and execute integration, regression, and end-to-end tests
• Work closely with backend engineers to validate events, services, and data consistency
• Integrate automated tests into CI/CD pipelines
• Identify edge cases and failure scenarios in real-money systems
• Document QA processes, test coverage, and quality metrics
• Act as a quality owner, not just an executor
What We’re Looking For
• 5+ years of experience as a QA Engineer / SDET
• Strong experience with test automation, not manual-only profiles
• Proven experience building or owning automation frameworks
• Solid background testing APIs and backend systems
• Experience with transactional or critical systems (payments, fintech, crypto, iGaming, wallets, high-traffic platforms)
• Strong understanding of:
• Distributed systems
• Event-driven architectures
• Data consistency and state validation
• Comfortable working independently with high ownership
• Experience working in remote teams
• Based in LATAM (required)
Technical Skills (flexible stack)
There is no fixed tool stack. We value experience and decision-making over specific tools. Commonly used tools include:
• Automation: Playwright, Selenium, Cypress, Robot Framework
• Languages: TypeScript, JavaScript, Python, Java, or similar
• API Testing: Postman, REST Assured, Swagger
• CI/CD: GitHub Actions, Jenkins, GitLab CI
• Performance / load testing experience is a plus
Nice to Have
• Experience in iGaming or crypto platforms
• Experience as the first QA in a team or startup
• Exposure to production monitoring and post-release validation
• Performance or load testing experience
