Description

We are looking for a SharePoint Developer to support our client in the consulting sector. This role involves designing, developing, and maintaining SharePoint solutions that enable business processes and management information systems.

The ideal candidate will have experience with SharePoint (2013/2016/2019/Online), Microsoft technologies, and related platforms, and will work across solution design, development, and performance optimization as part of a collaborative team delivering high-quality technology solutions.

Responsibilities

  • Participate in design reviews and contribute to design recommendations, incorporating security requirements

  • Administer and support SharePoint applications, portals, and collaboration sites

  • Create technical documentation and assist with requirements, design, and estimation

  • Troubleshoot and resolve complex technical issues reported by QA, product owners, or end users

  • Support business and content teams managing HTML and SharePoint sites

  • Administer Active Directory groups and manage associations with content and applications

  • Integrate applications with client portals and websites, and provision new Wikis, Blogs, team, and publishing sites

  • Support migrations of existing portals and sites, and prototype pages, sites, and workflows

  • Configure workflows for Dev, QA, and Production environments, and deploy third-party tools

  • Perform system integration testing, analyze results, and provide feedback on user documentation

  • Provide 3rd level production support and issue resolution

  • Follow disaster recovery procedures and participate in cross-technology process improvement initiatives

Requirements

  • Bachelor of Engineering / Bachelor of Technology

  • 3-6 years’ experience in a similar role

Essential:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Information Technology, Computer Science, or a related field

  • Excellent organizational and communication skills. Must have strong interpersonal skills, presentation skills, and the ability to work productively with all levels in a global organization

  • Expert problem solver, capable of finding simple answers to complex questions or problems

  • Demonstrated project management capabilities, with the ability to effectively manage multiple assignments and responsibilities in a fast-paced environment

Technical Skills and Qualifications

  • SharePoint: 2013 / 2016 / 2019, SP Online

  • Languages (Client/Server): C#, JavaScript, jQuery, Bootstrap, Angular / ReactJs

  • Design Patterns

  • Service: WebApi

  • Building Tools: TFS with RM, GIT

  • Databases: SQL Server

  • Unit Testing: nUnit, MSTest, Telerik JustMock

  • Tools: Visual Studio, VSCode

  • SharePoint Development: Custom Server Side Webpart (Visual Webparts) / App Model / SharePoint Framework (SPFx)

  • Worked on Performance Tuning and testing projects using SharePoint

  • Used Application Blocks such as logging, exception handling, etc.

  • Nice to Have: Experience in SharePoint Modern site development, React JS, and TypeScript

  • Good to Have: Experience with Azure Cloud and Microsoft Graph API

Duration: 6 months

Hybrid (1 day a week on-site)
