We are Planet DDS, founded in 2003 as a software development company. Our cloud-based DentalOS™ platform helps dental organizations, DSOs, and dental groups manage operations for over 13,000 practices and 118,000 users.

Our platform includes Denticon Practice Management, Cloud 9 Ortho Practice Management (acquired in 2023), and Apteryx Cloud Imaging (acquired in 2020). We also offer Planet DDS Pay for integrated payments and MyTooth for patient engagement. We provide solutions for cloud-based dental practice management, revenue cycle management, paperless offices, mobile dentistry, patient communication, image management (including AI tools), group software, scheduling, patient acquisition, practice marketing, DSO software, and practice analytics. Our goal is to improve efficiency, increase revenue, and deliver scalable technology to our clients.
