Job Overview
SmartHire is our human‑in‑the‑loop, assisted hiring service that helps hirers move faster and smarter from mandates to placement. It pairs Talent Consultant support with automation to handle the heavy lifting with AI assistance — role requirements, candidate sourcing, shortlisting, interview coordination and candidate comms—so hirers can focus on great decisions and experience.
This role will lead high‑quality discovery and iteration that helps SmartHire deliver faster speed‑to‑interview and better placement conversion.
This opportunity is available to suitable candidates in ANZ and Asia.
Key responsibilities include:
- Lead discovery across SmartHire’s assisted hiring workflows (AI-powered requirements gathering, candidate sourcing, screening, interview coordination, candidate comms): map as‑is/to‑be, define success metrics with Product Managers, and design clear human‑in‑the‑loop handoffs and controls.
- Translate hypotheses into incremental delivery: write clear user stories and acceptance criteria, prioritise and manage the backlog and iterations, and instrument funnels/dashboards to validate outcomes and guide prioritisation.
- Orchestrate cross‑functional delivery with Talent Consultants/Operations, Product, Engineering, Design, and Core systems, aligning data contracts/APIs and ensuring compliance (privacy/PII, consent, auditability).
- Drive change and adoption at scale: plan for user acceptance and training for SmartHire consultants, prepare go‑live/cutover runbooks and hypercare, manage RAID, and close the loop with insights for continuous improvement.
Qualifications
So, what we are looking for:
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills — capable of breaking down complex issues into structured insights.
- Proven experience as a Business Analyst or Senior Business Analyst in technology, product, or digital environments.
- Stakeholder management expertise — ability to influence and negotiate across diverse teams and seniority levels.
- Experience with Agile delivery methods and tools (e.g., user stories, backlog management, acceptance criteria).
- Excellent communication skills — able to translate technical information into clear business language.
- Proficiency in documentation and requirements management, including user journey mapping, process modelling, and story writing.
Desired Values
- Knowledge of the recruitment, marketplace, or SaaS sectors.
- Experience with data-driven decision making and using metrics to validate outcomes.
- Prior experience in large organisational change or enterprise transformation initiatives.
- Familiarity with UX and design thinking practices.
