About Results for Development

We are a global nonprofit, founded in 2008, dedicated to international development. We partner with leaders in government, civil society, and social innovation to strengthen local health, education, and nutrition systems. We provide country leaders with specific support to help them identify challenges, develop and implement solutions, and continuously learn and adapt. This involves investigating root causes, applying global experience, working with stakeholders to create solutions, and implementing them through existing infrastructure. We also support a broader ecosystem by strengthening local organizations, connecting them to networks, and aligning global partners’ efforts.

We specialize in areas like global education, global health, governance, market dynamics, nutrition, and collaborative learning. In the past year, we supported over 10,000 change agents, created more than 130 new knowledge products, documented 40 systems changes, and launched or strengthened 31 learning networks. We have offices in Washington, DC, Dar es Salaam, Abuja, Accra, Addis Ababa, and London.
