We are an employee-owned small business founded in 1981, providing environmental and energy consulting services. Our main office is in Arlington, VA, with satellite offices in Germantown, MD, and Chapel Hill, NC.

We specialize in improving air, land, and water quality, and optimizing energy supply. We offer engineering, technical, planning, and communications expertise to public and private industry clients.

Our areas of focus include Nuclear & Radiation Sciences, Environment, Health, & Safety, NORM & TENORM, Air Quality and Climate Change, Resiliency & Emergency Management Services, Advanced Technology, Remediation & Decommissioning, and NEPA. This means we might support federal clients with emergency management planning or prepare NEPA documents for nuclear facilities or sites.

As an employee-owned small business, we have a workforce of 51 to 200 employees. We emphasize teamwork and client satisfaction.

Our employees work independently and collaboratively with federal, state, and local government officials. We value adaptability to changing client needs. Many of our roles are remote, but travel is required for exercises and regional planning, training, and other initiatives, which sometimes means working on-site at government facilities.

For certain positions, U.S. citizenship and the ability to obtain a security clearance are required.

We provide a minimum of 15 days of paid time off per year, based on experience, and observe 11 holidays. Our 401K plan includes a profit-sharing component that typically contributes 5% of your salary to your 401K. All benefits are effective on your first day of employment.
