Founded in 2017 and based in Mountain View, CA, we are a global Non-Terrestrial Network (NTN) service provider. We offer a service that lets smartphones, wearables, sensors, and IoT cellular devices connect directly over existing satellites, often through a firmware upgrade, without needing special hardware. Our service supports 3GPP Rel-17 based satellite connectivity for sensor data, native SMS, and will soon include voice calls.

Our commercial NTN vRAN, which has a 3GPP standards-based cloud-native base station and core, manages devices connected via satellite. We partner with satellite operators, network operators, and device makers to bridge terrestrial and satellite networks with our connectivity solutions. Our focus is on providing connected services for individuals outdoors and powering workflows for machines across industries like agriculture, maritime, logistics, mining, oil & gas, energy, construction, infrastructure, transport, communications, and defense. We also support mass-market consumer devices. We use existing geostationary satellites. Our service was developed by engineers and scientists from MIT and Stanford in the US, with deployment teams in Finland and India.
