Job Description

As a key member of the People & Culture Platforms team, this role supports business analysis activities across P&C technology initiatives, including assessing current and future state processes, designing improved workflows, and producing clear documentation. Working closely with stakeholders, the P&C Business Analyst identifies business needs and translates them into system requirements that enhance the experience of employees, people leaders, and P&C teams.

In this role, you’ll apply strong communication and technical skills to translate people‑experience needs into effective processes, documentation, and solutions. You will analyse how technology-supported processes can be optimised or further automated by collaborating with P&C teams, and you’ll contribute to testing and implementation to ensure outcomes align with stakeholder expectations. You’ll also play an active role in fostering a culture of service excellence and continuous improvement by proactively identifying opportunities to enhance both individual and team practices.

In this role you will:

  • Analyse current People & Culture practices and processes, identifying improvement and transformation opportunities to improve the people experience of TAL employees and people leaders, increase productivity, improve speed of delivery, and eliminate waste.
  • Partner with Technology and Integration teams to design, configure, and maintain system integrations, including managing secure file transfer setups, folder structures and permissions and ongoing monitoring to ensure data flow and access controls remain robust.
  • Document & analyse existing system Business Processes, including current approval and condition rules. Provide recommendation for simplification of current business processes while working closely with appropriate stakeholders and subject matter experts.
  • Co-ordinate/Implement system process changes & initiatives in collaboration with the HRIS team according to agreed timeframes and business requirements.
  • Identify new and better ways to improve and simplify P&C Platform processes, including suggestions for automation or alternative steps.
  • Contribute to putting in place processes, documentation and plans help manage and reduce any operational risks in relation to P&C Platforms

Qualifications

  • Minimum of 5 years’ experience in working as a business analyst, completing process analysis, process mapping and delivering process improvements.
  • Experience with People & Culture processes and systems is desirable.
  • Knowledge and experience in working with HR systems such as Workday, Dayforce, SmartRecruiters, Peakon, and RewardsGateway.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, specifically Excel (medium to advanced).
  • Knowledge of HR policies, processes and procedures.
  • Experience in Agile project management methodology is desirable.
  • Familiarity with basic principles of UX/CX design.
  • Experience with human centered design practices is highly desirable
  • Workday accredited in one or more modules
