Job Description
The Mission
You are the primary engine for awareness, adoption, and advocacy for tawk.to in Malaysia. This is a
high-impact, 50⁄50 hybrid role: half of your time is spent finding and closing new opportunities (Sales), and
the other half is spent ensuring our customers are successful, onboarded, and supported (Support).
Responsibilities:
Sales & Growth (40% supplied / 60% self-generated)
Hunting: Proactively identify and reach out to local businesses (SMEs and Enterprises).
Awareness to Advocacy: Manage the full lifecycle from outreach to signup and adoption.
Documentation: Track all activities and leads within our internal tawk.to pipeline tool. Customer Support & Onboarding (50%)
Guided Growth: Act as the first point of contact for setup and feature adoption.
The Bridge: Work with the engineering team to troubleshoot and provide local feedback.
Brand Ambassador (The ‘Face’ of tawk.to)
Presence: Represent tawk.to at 3-4 local events/conferences per month.
Market Insight: Collaborate with gtm and Marketing to tailor local messaging.
Training & Support: We Invest in You
Deep-Dive Onboarding: Comprehensive training on the tawk.to platform and internal tools.
Resource Library: Access to full marketing assets, sales collateral, and technical resources.
Engineering Support: Direct access to engineers for complex queries and onboarding.
What We’re Looking For Trilingual Mastery: Fluent in English, Mandarin, and Cantonese (Speaking, Reading, and Writing).
The ‘Boots on the Ground’ Mindset: Enjoy being on the road for appointments and events.
Technical Curiosity: Comfortable explaining software features.
Mobility: Must have your own vehicle for local travel.
