Position Summary:

The Marketing Specialist role supports the execution of marketing strategies for the portfolio, with a primary focus on event execution, promotional materials, and digital initiatives. This role contributes to the timely and compliant implementation of marketing activities, working cross‑functionally with internal teams and external vendors. The position is ideal for an early‑career professional with strong organizational, analytical, and proactive capabilities.

Work Model:

Flex: This role will typically require onsite work 2-3 days each week at out office in Santa Fe. In many locations, the business will set certain days each week that Flex employees are required to be onsite.

Responsibilities:

  1. Support the planning and ensuring execution of marketing events, including congresses, symposia, advisory boards, and scientific meetings.
  2. Assist in the creation and execution of digital print marketing materials.
  3. Manage timelines, briefs, and deliverables with agencies, vendors, and internal stakeholders.
  4. Ensure marketing materials and activities comply with medical, legal, and regulatory requirements.
  5. Track and report basic marketing KPIs related to events and promotional activities.
  6. Provide administrative and operational support, including purchase orders, invoices, and budget tracking.
  7. Contribute ideas and recommendations to improve execution efficiency and impact.
  8. Support ad‑hoc marketing projects as needed.

Requirements:

  1. Bachelor’s degree in marketing, Business Administration, Communications, Life Sciences, or related field.
  2. 1–2 years of experience in the pharmaceutical industry (marketing, events, or related roles) preferred; recent graduates with relevant internships will also be considered.
  3. Experience or strong interest in pharmaceutical marketing and rare diseases.
  4. Intermediate to advanced English (reading, writing, and communication).
  5. Strong organizational and project coordination skills.
  6. Critical and Analytical thinking.
  7. Proactive mindset with ability to propose solutions and improvements.
  8. Experience or familiarity with digital marketing materials and channels.
  9. Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
  10. Strong communication and cross‑functional collaboration skills.
  11. Limited travel requirements – Events or local congresses
