Cardiology Medical Assistant – Onsite Telehealth Support (Columbia, MD)
Work onsite in Columbia supporting live virtual cardiology visits. Stable weekdays. Real clinical ownership.
- Location: Columbia, MD (4 days onsite, 1 day remote after training)
- Training: 1 month onsite in Annapolis, MD
- Pay: $19–$24/hour
- Schedule: Monday–Friday, 7:30am–4:00pm or 8:00am–4:30pm
This is a hands-on clinical role supporting virtual cardiology care from the office. You won’t be working a front desk. You’ll be actively involved in patient prep, triage support, and post-visit coordination.
If you have strong EKG experience and want to grow or deepen your cardiology exposure in a structured telehealth setting, this role was built for you.
What You’ll Do
Virtually room patients for cardiology visits
Collect vitals, history, and medication reconciliation before NP joins
Support triage and manage same-day portal messages
Prepare labs or testing recommendations for provider review
Document post-visit next steps and coordinate follow-ups
Schedule and reschedule visits accurately
Keep patient–provider communication clear and organized
This role keeps you in the clinical loop without high-volume physical room turnover.
Must-Haves
Active Medical Assistant certification from an accredited program
3+ years of strong clinical MA experience
Experience in cardiology, internal medicine, family medicine, or other high-acuity specialty
Hands-on EKG experience (required)
Reliable transportation
Ability to train onsite in Annapolis for 1 month
Comfortable working onsite in Columbia 4 days per week
This is not a remote role. All telehealth visits are supported onsite.
