Own a Southeast territory with real account growth upside.
- Role: Key Account Manager
- Location/Type: Southeast (Florida, Georgia, or North Carolina) • Remote field role
- Pay: $90,000–$110,000 base + bonus
- Schedule: No set hours. Do what it takes to get the job done.
You own growth inside key accounts across the Southeast.
No heavy cold calling. Deals come from RFPs and relationships.
You step in after the first win. You turn projects into long-term revenue.
You own account plans, stakeholders, and budget timing. Founders support delivery and credibility.
What you’ll do
Grow net dollar retention across accounts over $25K.
Build account plans and expansion paths.
Turn RFP wins into follow-on consulting work.
Manage relationships with GIS managers and IT leaders.
Attend council meetings, conferences, and local events.
Spot software opportunities and pull in sales support.
Partner with founders on strategy and key presentations.
Must-haves
Experience selling into local government.
Account growth or expansion sales experience.
Background in services or consulting sales.
Strong network in the Southeast public sector.
Able to navigate city budgets and local government decision-making.
Able to travel across Florida, Georgia, and North Carolina as needed.
Nice to have
GIS (geographic information systems) experience.
Sold to GIS managers or IT leaders.
Experience with RFP-driven government business.
Worked in a founder-led environment.
