No inbound calls. No copays. Hybrid schedule. $18–$20/hr.
- Columbia, MD • Hybrid (4 days onsite, 1 remote) • Full-Time
- Pay: $18.00–$20.00/hour
- Schedule: Standard weekday business hours
Our client is an outpatient cardiology practice.
You run the virtual follow-up schedule. Task list driven. Clean workflows. Clear ownership.
No inbound phone queue. No copay collection. No in-person check-ins.
What you’ll do
Work EMR task list from NP orders
Schedule follow-up appointments only
Run eligibility; confirm active coverage
Ensure referrals are on file
Assist with prior authorizations
Manage reminders; reduce no-shows
Refill canceled slots quickly
Answer admin pool messages
Print, fax, mail forms and visit summaries
Remote day:
Complete scheduling tasks
Run eligibility and referral checks
Clear inbox and documentation
Must-haves
1+ year medical front desk or scheduling
Strong insurance eligibility knowledge
Understand referrals and authorizations
EMR/EHR experience
Organized; can manage task lists independently
High school diploma or GED
Nice to have
Cardiology or specialty clinic experience
Centralized scheduling or virtual support experience
