Who You Are

We are seeking a motivated and growth-oriented HR Business Partner to join our team and support people initiatives aligned with Verve’s business objectives. This junior to mid-level position is ideal for a proactive HR professional eager to learn and grow in a fast-paced, high-growth environment. The role will support both our India-based and global teams, while also contributing to HR initiatives. You will bring a solid HR foundation and strong operational skills, supporting consistent HR practices, a positive and inclusive workplace culture, and high-performing teams across locations. With a passion for the employee experience and an interest in developing business partnering capabilities over time, you will be a collaborative HR partner and a strong ambassador of Verve’s values.

This is a hybrid position with three days per week in our Bangalore office (Indiranagar).

What You Will Do

  • Support HR Business Partners in delivering HR initiatives aligned with business goals, providing day-to-day HRBP support to teams in India and globally across core HR topics

  • Assist with talent-related activities including onboarding, employee engagement, learning & development, performance management, workforce planning, and succession processes in line with Verve’s frameworks

  • Support a positive and inclusive workplace by handling employee queries, assisting with employee relations topics, and guiding managers on HR best practices

  • Contribute to change management activities related to organisational growth, transformation, and ongoing business changes

  • Support the analysis and reporting of people metrics and trends, preparing insights for HRBPs and stakeholders

  • Contribute to HRBP projects across locations, collaborating with global stakeholders to ensure consistent practices, timely delivery, and continuous improvement

Requirements

What You Will Bring

  • 3+ years of progressive HR experience, with at least 1-2 years in an HRBP role or equivalent, ideally within the media or tech industry

  • Experience supporting people initiatives and organisational changes, contributing to a collaborative and high-performing workplace culture

  • Ability to work closely with employees, managers and HR Business Partners, supporting HR topics in a dynamic, high-growth, and multi-location organisation

  • Good working knowledge of core HR areas including onboarding, talent development, performance management, and employee relations

  • Developing business acumen with the ability to understand organisational needs and support data-driven HR decisions

  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to build effective working relationships across teams and cultures

  • Working knowledge of employment laws and HR best practices, with exposure to or interest in learning about multiple regions

  • A solutions-oriented mindset with the ability to manage complexity, prioritise effectively, and learn in ambiguous situations

  • A proactive and motivated HR professional with a passion for people, continuous learning, and delivering a positive employee experience
