About the Role
We are looking for a Partner Team Lead to drive and scale our partner ecosystem across Latin America, with a strong focus on Mexico and Colombia.
This is a hybrid leadership + hands-on role, responsible for both building and executing our regional partner strategy. You will lead the current partner team while actively contributing to partner acquisition, enablement, and revenue growth.
You will work closely with the global partnerships team to localize and operationalize our partner model, ensuring it is adapted to the realities of the LATAM market and capable of scaling efficiently.
What You’ll Do
Partner Strategy & Program Development
- Develop and localize Wati’s partner strategy for LATAM, ensuring strong alignment with global frameworks
- Build scalable processes for partner acquisition, onboarding, enablement, and performance management
- Define and implement KPIs, reporting structure, and partner segmentation (IPP)
- Establish a structured partner lifecycle model, from recruitment to activation and growth
Team Leadership
- Lead and develop the current partner team (hunter + farmer roles)
- Build team rituals, performance tracking, and accountability frameworks
- Coach and support the team to improve execution, productivity, and results
- Collaborate cross-functionally with Sales, Marketing, CS, and Product teams
Partner Acquisition (Inbound & Outbound)
- Own partner acquisition operation for Mexico and Latam (spanish speaking countries)
- Personally drive high-value partnerships, especially in key markets
- Build and manage a strong pipeline of agencies, resellers, and solution partners
- Identify and engage partners aligned with our Ideal Partner Profile (IPP)
Partner Management & Growth
- Drive partner activation, engagement, and revenue contribution
- Establish scalable models for partner enablement and co-selling
- Monitor partner performance and implement actions to increase productivity
- Build long-term relationships with strategic partners
Cross-Regional & Global Alignment
Act as the main point of contact between LATAM and the global partnerships team
Adapt global initiatives, tools, and programs to local market needs
Provide structured feedback and insights from LATAM to influence global strategy
5+ years of experience in Partnerships, Business Development, or Channel Sales within SaaS
Proven experience in building and scaling partner programs
Strong commercial mindset, with ability to drive revenue through partnerships
Experience managing or mentoring teams
Hands-on profile, comfortable balancing strategy and execution
Experience working with:Marketing agencies,CRM implementers,SaaS resellers or solution partners,Automation / MarTech ecosystems
Strong understanding of LATAM markets, especially Mexico
Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills
Fluent in Spanish and English (Portuguese is a strong plus)
