The Business Analyst drives continuous improvement across the quote-to-order process by measuring performance against established benchmarks and identifying opportunities to enhance pricing accuracy and operational efficiency. This role transforms data into actionable insights, comparing quoted assumptions against actual production outcomes to refine cost models and improve margin realization.

Key Responsibilities

•Monitor and report on quote operations KPIs including cycle time, win rate, quote accuracy, and margin variance across customer segments and product categories

•Analyze quote-to-actual variances by comparing quoted costs and margins against realized performance on all orders

•Identify systematic pricing variances and root causes, recommending adjustments to cost models, labor standards, or overhead allocations

•Track SLA compliance across functional areas and produce weekly performance dashboards for leadership review

•Develop and maintain variance thresholds that trigger pricing model reviews or escalation to revenue management

•Conduct periodic analysis of lost quotes to identify competitive positioning gaps or pricing optimization opportunities

•Partner with manufacturing and procurement to validate cost assumptions and update standard rates based on actual performance

• Prepare monthly and quarterly business reviews highlighting trends, improvement initiatives, and financial impact of process changes

•Support AI pricing model refinement by providing feedback on recommendation accuracy and identifying training data improvements

Work schedule: Mon-Fri 8 am - 5 pm EST
