Job description
We are seeking an AI & Business Systems Consultant to own internal data unification efforts and gradually transition into a client-facing AI consulting role. This position blends business intelligence, data integration, and applied AI using the Microsoft ecosystem. The ideal candidate is analytical, hands-on, ethical with data, and comfortable translating technical concepts into real business value.
Key Responsibilities
Internal AI Acceleration & Data Unification (Initial Focus)
- Own internal data centralization strategy, execution, and governance across systems such as Salesforce, QuickBooks, Kantata, PandaDoc, and Freshdesk using Microsoft Fabric (OneLake) and Azure Data Services.
- Build and optimize Power BI models and dashboards to prepare consolidated data for AI use.
- Improve decision-making through advanced analytics, including predictive and prescriptive insights.
- Design and implement AI-enabled automations using Copilot and Microsoft Power Platform to streamline cross-system workflows.
Customer-Facing AI Consulting (Evolving Role)
- Lead client discovery sessions to understand business needs and define AI adoption strategies.
- Design scalable AI and data architectures using Microsoft Fabric, Azure AI, and the Copilot ecosystem.
- Act as a trusted advisor, translating AI capabilities into clear, actionable business outcomes.
- Advise on ethical AI deployment, data governance, and change management to support long-term scalability.
Must Haves:
- 2–5 years of experience in business intelligence, data analysis, analytics engineering, or consulting.
- Proven ownership of end-to-end data integration projects from requirements through delivery and governance.
- Experience integrating data from multiple business systems using connectors or APIs.
- Exposure to client-facing or stakeholder-driven environments.
- Be located in LATAM.
Technical Skills
- Advanced Power BI skills (data modeling, DAX, reporting).
- Familiarity with Microsoft Fabric, OneLake, or Azure Data Services (Data Factory, Synapse).
- Foundational knowledge of the Microsoft AI stack (Copilot, Power Platform, Azure AI).
- Working knowledge of SQL, DAX, Python, or M for data transformation and automation.
- Understanding of cloud security, governance, and data privacy best practices.
Nice to have:
Advanced coursework or a Master’s degree in Data Analytics, AI, or BI is a plus.
Ongoing learning through certifications, bootcamps, or courses is highly valued.
Hands-on experience with Microsoft Fabric (especially Power BI or Data Factory integration).
Certifications such as Power BI Data Analyst Associate, Power Platform certifications, or AI Engineer Associate.
Experience with Power Automate or workflow automation tools.
Background in data governance, security, or compliance initiatives.
Work remotely Monday - Friday, 40 hours a week (no weekends)
Vacation: 10 business days a year
