Title: Independent Contractor – CPT-10749 Mortgage Loan Officer Assistant Virtual Assistant/Junior-Senior Level (Remote).
Overview
20four7VA is seeking offshore independent contractors to deliver remote services to clients worldwide, with a primary focus on developed markets such as the United States, the United Kingdom, Canada, and Australia.
Client is seeking a highly organized and proactive Mortgage Loan Officer Assistant Virtual Assistant to support a growing mortgage team.
This role focuses on loan application support, client communication, document coordination, and administrative assistance to ensure mortgage applications move efficiently through the loan pipeline.
The ideal candidate has prior experience in mortgage, lending, or real estate administration and is comfortable communicating with borrowers, managing documentation, and maintaining CRM records.
This is a part-time remote role working closely with a Loan Officer to streamline daily operations and maintain consistent borrower follow-up.
Scope of Services
Contractors will be required to provide services that align with the following client tasks:
- Loan Processing & Application Support
Send loan application links to borrowers and guide them through the application process.
Follow up with clients to collect required documentation for loan applications.
Track and organize borrower documents to ensure files are complete.
Maintain accurate records of borrower information and loan status.
Prepare loan files so they are ready for review by the loan officer or processing team.
- Client Communication & Follow-Ups
Conduct follow-up emails or calls with borrowers regarding missing documents or next steps.
Send introductory emails and instructions related to loan applications.
Maintain consistent communication with clients throughout the application process.
Provide professional and courteous support when responding to borrower inquiries.
- CRM & Pipeline Management
Maintain and update borrower records in the CRM system.
Track loan progress and ensure borrower information is accurate and organized.
Assist in keeping the loan pipeline updated and organized for the loan officer.
Document interactions and updates within the CRM.
- Email & Administrative Support
Monitor and manage the loan officer’s inbox.
Respond to basic borrower inquiries and route complex questions appropriately.
Assist with scheduling meetings or borrower consultations.
Organize tasks and daily priorities to support efficient workflow.
Each engagement is based on a defined scope of work and is governed by an independent contractor agreement. Services must be performed professionally, with adherence to any timelines, guidelines, and deliverables agreed upon in writing.
Qualifications
The Contractor must demonstrate proficiency in the following, depending on the Client’s requirements:
- Previous experience in mortgage, lending, or real estate administration preferred.
- Strong organizational and administrative skills.
- Excellent written and verbal English communication skills.
- Ability to follow up professionally with clients and maintain positive relationships.
- Experience with CRM systems and document management.
- Detail-oriented with strong attention to documentation accuracy.
- Ability to work independently and manage tasks remotely.
Preferred Experience
- Experience supporting a Loan Officer or Mortgage Broker.
- Familiarity with loan applications and mortgage documentation.
- Experience in real estate transaction coordination.
- Exposure to mortgage CRM systems or loan platforms.

Note: The Company will make reasonable efforts to align the Assigned VA’s schedule with the Client’s preferred hours as set forth above. However, availability may vary based on time zones, capacity, and the contracted hours set in this SOW. Any changes must be mutually agreed to in writing through a revised SOW.
Terms of Engagement
- Contractors will operate under a Master Services Agreement and a Statement of Work
- This is not an offer of employment; contractors are not employees of 20four7VA or any client
- All compensation is processed through 20four7VA according to the terms of the engagement
