BH Properties is a privately held commercial real estate investment firm focused on value-add acquisitions in office, industrial, retail, and multi-family properties throughout the Western United States, along with investments in distressed debt and ground leases.  The Company is vertically integrated, with offices in Los Angeles, San Francisco, Seattle, Riverside, Phoenix, Dallas, Austin, San Diego, and Houston, and can acquire and close transactions without the need for lengthy due diligence periods.  Our 31-year track record and balance sheet allow us to move quickly and creatively, structuring acquisitions to satisfy sellers’ needs in a highly competitive market. Today, the Company owns and operates approximately 10M square feet across 18 states.

REPORTING RESPONSIBILITY AND LOCATION

This candidate will join our team remotely from the Philippines, work during U.S. Pacific business hours, and report directly to the Senior Managing Director.

RESPONSIBILITIES

Including, but are not limited to:

Leadership & Management

  • Supervise and mentor the recruiting team, providing guidance and performance feedback.
  • Oversee daily recruiting activities and ensure positions are filled within the desired timeline.

Recruitment Strategy & Execution

  • Develop and implement recruitment strategies to attract top talent for commercial real estate roles.
  • Manage sourcing efforts across platforms such as LinkedIn and other job boards.
  • Review and approve candidate screening and selection processes.
  • Partner with hiring managers to align recruitment plans accordingly.

HR Operations & Compliance

  • Assist with onboarding processes to ensure a smooth transition for new hires in the Philippines.

Reporting & Analytics

  • Review and analyze recruiting metrics and prepare weekly/monthly reports for leadership.
  • Identify tools, trends and recommend process improvements to enhance efficiency.

QUALIFICATIONS

  • At least 10 years of full-cycle recruiting, sourcing or human resources experience.
  • Proven leadership experience in recruitment and hiring, including mentoring recruiters and managing hiring strategies.
  • Experience with posting jobs on LinkedIn, Indeed and other sites.
  • Solid organizational skills, including the ability to prioritize and multi-task.
  • Working knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite, including Word, Excel, and Outlook.
  • Ability to communicate effectively and professionally with all levels of the organization.
  • Ability to work independently and with minimum supervision.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
  • Ability to maintain a high-level of confidentiality.
  • Must possess strong work ethic.
  • Must be a team player.
