Role Summary
The Recruitment Coordinator supports multiple nursing facilities by managing job postings, engaging applicants, scheduling interviews, and maintaining accurate recruitment records. This role is essential to improving qualified applicant flow, reducing time-to-hire, and ensuring clear, consistent communication between applicants and facility leadership.
This is a coordination-heavy role that requires attention to detail, follow-through, and the ability to keep multiple facilities and candidates moving at the same time.
PLEASE NOTE:
- Working Hours: Monday – Friday | 9:00 AM – 6:00 PM CST (5:00 PM – 2:00 AM South African time – subject to change in accordance with daylight savings in the United States as well as the operational requirements of the Company).
- You will be required to work on both South African and U.S. public holidays (compensation for SA public holidays in accordance with the BCEA).
- Internet Requirements: A fixed fibre line with a minimum speed of 25 Mbps (upload & download) and the ability to support a wired Ethernet connection is mandatory. Applicants without a fixed fibre line cannot be considered.
- Power Backup: A reliable power backup solution is required to manage load shedding and power outages. Applicants without a power backup cannot be considered.
- Work Environment: This is a fully remote working role.
Job Responsibilities:
- Manage and maintain job postings across recruitment platforms, ensuring accuracy, consistency, and visibility
- Optimize job descriptions for performance, including correct job titles, wage ranges, and a standardized benefits section
- Refresh active job postings on a weekly basis or as directed
- Contact applicants promptly via phone, text, and email, and continue follow-up until a clear outcome is reached
- Screen applicants for minimum requirements, including licensing, experience, and shift availability
- Schedule interviews and confirm all details with applicants and facility leadership
- Send interview reminders and follow-ups to reduce no-shows
- Communicate regularly with facility HR teams and administrators to confirm open roles, priorities, wage ranges, and interview availability
- Track all applicant activity, interview outcomes, and next steps accurately in shared recruitment trackers
- Follow up with facilities to ensure post-interview feedback and updates are completed
- Escalate delays, non-responsiveness, or process issues to leadership when required
Experience
- Previous experience in recruitment coordination, talent acquisition support, or high-volume hiring
- Healthcare or multi-site recruiting experience is advantageous

- Strong written and verbal communication skills
- Highly organised with strong follow-through
- Comfortable managing multiple priorities and stakeholders simultaneously
- Detail-oriented with confidence in tracking and reporting
- Professional, persistent, and able to drive action without constant oversight
Technical Skills:
- Proficient in basic computer navigation, MS Office, and Outlook.
- Comfortable managing leads and candidate information in a CRM or ATS.
