Job Description
About LoopMe
LoopMe is an AI company solving one of advertising’s hardest problems: making brand advertising actually measurable — and making it perform. Our platform runs patented machine learning models across billions of consumer signals in real time, optimising campaigns toward outcomes like purchase intent, brand lift, and foot traffic rather than proxy metrics like clicks. The result is 2–5x better performance than industry benchmarks, at scale.
We operate a high-load programmatic infrastructure — processing millions of ad requests per second with sub-200ms response times globally. This isn’t a layer on top of someone else’s stack; it’s built from the ground up, in-house, by the team you’d be joining. Founded in 2012 and headquartered in London, we now have 400+ people across 19 cities and have sustained 40% revenue CAGR since 2018. The engineering problems here are real, the ownership is genuine, and the scale is significant.
The opportunity
You’ll join a close-knit, cross-functional team of 5 engineers — spanning frontend, backend, and QA — distributed across Poland and Ukraine. The team owns our next-generation GraphQL backend (built in Java and Node.js) and the Angular 16 UI powering our client-facing Dashboards.
What you’ll do
- Build and maintain Java-based services that form the core of the team’s platform responsibilities
- Own relational and NoSQL database work across new feature development and existing system changes
- Refactor existing code to deliver measurable improvements in system performance
- Ship unit and component tests for every system component you work on
- Partner with frontend, QA, and cross-functional engineers across Poland and Ukraine to deliver reliable, scalable software
What you’ll bring
Essential:
- 3+ years of Java backend development experience in a production environment
- Solid working knowledge of Spring, Spring Boot, and PostgreSQL
- Experience working with REST APIs and microservices architecture
- Proficiency with Git in a collaborative team workflow
- A proactive approach to identifying problems and improving processes without being prompted
Nice to have:
- Experience with GraphQL
- Familiarity with NoSQL databases
- Experience working in an agile, distributed team environment
What we offer
- Flexible working schedule
- 1 month work-from-anywhere
- Annual performance bonus
- English classes
- LoopMe Gives Back
- Learning & development support
