Role Overview:

As the Global Compliance Officer, you’ll be a key part of our legal and compliance team, responsible for ensuring the company operates in full accordance with all relevant laws, regulations, and internal policies. You’ll play a crucial role in managing our compliance programme, with a particular focus on sanctions, fraud prevention and investigations. You’ll also be responsible for developing and implementing Global compliance policies and delivering training to employees across the group. This role requires a proactive and detail-oriented individual with strong analytical and communication skills.

Remote: This role is fully remote to be based in the United Kingdom.

Hours: 9am to 5pm. The role is a permanent five (5) day a week role (Monday to Friday).

Key Responsibilities:

  • SanctionsCompliance: MonitorandinterpretUK,EU,andUSsanctionsregulations.

Conductsanctionsscreeningandduediligence,andadvisethebusinesson

sanctions-relatedrisksandcompliancerequirements.

  • Anti-Bribery&Corruption(ABC): Managethecompany’sABCprogram,includingrisk

assessments,third-partyduediligence,andinternalcontrols.InvestigatepotentialABC

violationsandadviseonremedialactions.

  • FraudPrevention&Investigations: Developandimplementstrategiestopreventand

detectfraud.Leadinternalinvestigationsintoallegationsoffraudorothermisconduct,

gatheringevidence,conductinginterviews,andpreparingreports.

  • Policy&ProcedureWriting: Draft,review,andupdateinternalcompliancepolicies,

procedures,andguidancedocuments.Ensureallpoliciesareclear,comprehensive,and

alignedwithregulatoryrequirements.

  • Training&Awareness: Designanddelivercompliancetrainingsessionstoemployees

atalllevelsofthebusiness.Createengagingtrainingmaterialsandtrackemployee

completion.

  • Advisory&Support: Provideexpertcomplianceadvicetovariousbusinessunitsona

rangeoftopics,includingconflictsofinterest,giftsandhospitality,andregulatory

changes.

  • Compliance Disclosures: Manage the intake, assessment, and resolution process for

all internal compliance disclosures, ensuring confidentiality and timely action.

Qualifications & Experience

  • Experience: Aminimumof5-7yearsofexperienceinacompliancerolewithina

multinationalbusiness.

  • Expertise: Strong,demonstrableexperienceinsanctions,anti-bribery,fraud,and

internalinvestigations.Experiencewithpolicywritingandtrainingdeliveryisessential.

  • Education: Adegreeinlaw,finance,orarelatedfield.Professionalcompliance

certifications(e.g.,ICA,ACAMS)arehighlydesirable.

  • Skills: Excellentanalytical,problem-solving,andcommunicationskills.Theabilityto

workindependently,managemultiplepriorities,andinfluencestakeholdersatalllevels.

  • Mindset: Aproactive,resilient,andethicalapproachtowork.Akeeneyefordetailanda

commitmenttomaintainingthehigheststandardsofintegrity.

  • Ownership&ProcessManagement: Demonstratedabilitytotakefullownershipof
