POSITION SUMMARY

The Learning & Evaluation team seeks a team member who confidently navigates the Salesforce CRM system and who enjoys strategically developing solutions and processes to support program operations and data-driven outcomes. The Salesforce Developer/Administrator will work closely with the teamโ€™s Director of Evaluation & Compliance and Data Manager to lead development and support maintenance of the Salesforce system to successfully impact Salesforce processes for all organizational programs. Solutions will address needs such as interoperability of programs and integration of program requirements to measure program success.

The duties listed below are intended only as illustrations of the various types of work that may be performed.

  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to gather program requirements, design solutions, and develop and implement changes in Salesforce
  • Support development and maintenance of Salesforce configuration, workflows, and processes to ensure maximum efficiency and user adoption
  • Analyze the needs of internal users, identify problems, troubleshoot, and recommend solutions
  • Develop and deploy custom objects, fields, and page layouts
  • Manage organizational records ensuring data integrity, quality, privacy and security
  • Stay informed with Salesforce updates, best practices, and new features to continuously improve system performance
  • With Data Manager, support reports and dashboards to provide actionable insights to stakeholders as needed
  • Collaborate with vendors and consultants as needed for system integrations and customizations
  • Provide routine reporting and analysis on system performance and usage for leadership communication

QUALIFICATIONS

  • Familiarity with CRM database development and administration
  • Strong knowledge and experience with complex systems integration and patterns and development
  • Experience in performing Salesforce upgrades and ensuring successful integration
  • In-depth knowledge of Salesforce products and their functionalities
  • Proficiency in creating Salesforce profiles, allocating roles, and managing access
  • Knowledge of importing service data and generating Salesforce reports
  • Ability to provide Salesforce training and end-user support
  • In depth experience with Salesforce, including but not limited to building applications using Salesforce customizations & automation features
  • Knowledgeable in Salesforce configuration, workflows, data management, and reporting
  • Thrives working both independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment and continuously evolving industry
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, including highly developed listening and customer service skills
  • Strong problem-solving and analytical skills
  • Excellent, highly professional written and oral communication skills required
  • Must be a highly motivated self-starter, able to maintain poise under pressure

EDUCATION & EXPERIENCE

  • At least 3 years of Salesforce Developer experience desired
  • Preferred Salesforce Certified Technical Architect (CTA) certification or equivalent experience
  • Salesforce Service Cloud or Sales Cloud admin experience.

HEALTH STATUS

Must have a physical examination, TB clearance and a drug screen by a doctor/clinic designated by MAAC as well as immunization records for influenza*, pertussis and measles as required by state and federal regulations prior to the first day of employment.

Physical Demands

While performing the duties of this class, an employee is regularly required to stand, walk and sit, talk or hear both in person and by telephone, uses hands to finger, handle or feel objects or controls, reach with hands and arms. An employee also is regularly required to stoop, kneel, bend, crouch or crawl, climb or balance and lift up to 50 pounds. Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision, distance vision, depth perception, color vision and the ability to adjust focus.

Mental Demands

While performing the duties of this class, the employee is regularly required to use written and oral communication skills; read and interpret information; analyze and solve problems; observe and interpret people and situations; use basic math; learn and apply new information or skills; work under intensive deadlines and interact with MAAC management, administrators, staff, teachers, parents, family members, children and others encountered in the course of work.

BACKGROUND CLEARANCE

All positions are subject to a background/education check, DMV check, NSOR, exclusion and debarment checks prior to hire and periodically throughout employment as required by various funding sources.

Note: California Start law requires background criminal checks on anyone who works in a licensed childcare facility who is not a client. Must have or obtain a current criminal background check clearance, signed criminal record statement, and signed Acknowledgement to Report Child Abuse form prior to the first day of employment.

TRANSPORTATION

Must have and maintain a valid California Driverโ€™s License, daily use of a personal, insured vehicle, and have and maintain a motor vehicle driving record acceptable to MAACโ€™s insurance carrier. Incumbents will be enrolled in the California DMV Pull Program.
